About Us

We are your hosts, Al and Joanne Burgess and Gerald and Merideth Smith.  We are committed to providing you with a memorable vacation on the South Carolina coast at either Hilton Head Island or at North Myrtle Beach.

Al is currently retired and worked for thirty years with a major consulting firm. Al plays golf, is the treasurer of his Church and is a trustee at Lynchburg College.  Joanne, also of Lynchburg College, is a retired educator.  Joanne is very active in her Church and with several other charities dedicated to assisting the disadvantaged person.  Al and Joanne live in Atlanta.

Gerald is retired.  For 35 years he was a successful builder in North Myrtle Beach.  He is also an expert craftsman and fills his days creating furniture and interior decrative pieces to enhance his and the homes of his friends.

Merideth worked for many years in the antique business and volunteered her time to beautify and enhance North Myrtle Beach.  Currently she is employed by the City of North Myrtle Beach.
